Exploring 2D shapes!

Reception have been exploring 2D shapes this week!  We tried to follow the picture instructions to create a shape picture on the board using different 2D shapes and pins.  This also helped to strengthen the muscles in our hands, helping to get us ready for writing!  💪 At the gluing area  we carefully drew around different 2D shapes to create shape pictures!  We talked about the different shapes we had used, focusing on counting the sides and corners.
